One Stoplight Town is the tale of a simple town that grows, thrives, and yet somehow, remains the same. From a young couple celebrating their long-awaited wedding day in the midst of a national tragedy in 2001, to a cantankerous grocery store owner waging his own fight against change as a controversial war looms in 2003, to a son returning home beaten and battered but all the wiser after the financial crisis of 2007, and more. Through it all, relationships are forged, old and new struggle to coexist, and a wise handywoman takes it all in while she fixes what is broken. Despite everything going on in the world, life goes on in this small town. And goodness, hope, and compassion thrive even in the darkest of times.
